WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team returns home on Saturday afternoon, as the Black Knights get set to face UAlbany at 3 p.m.

STORYLINES
Army enters the weekend after notching its first away win of the season, with a 65-61 come-from-behind victory at Yale on Dec. 3. Senior Kelsey Minato netted a game-high 27 points, including 20 in the second half, and set the program record for career points. Minato reached 1,951 career points after the game to pass the previous standard of 1,941 points set by Army Hall-of-Famer Katie Macfarlane (USMA '04) in 2004.
Minato hit a driving lay-up with 27 seconds remaining in the third period to score her 1,942nd career point and set the record.
THE ARMY-UALBANY SERIES
Army owns a 5-4 lead over UAlbany in a series dating back to 1999-2000. The Black Knights and the Great Danes last met during the 2009-10 season, with UAlbany taking a 53-49 win in Albany, N.Y.
ARMY WEST POINT (5-1) NOTES
• Army trailed by 10, 32-22, at halftime against Yale and trailed by 11 early in the third quarter before Minato's record-setting lay-in tied the game at 44-44.
• Minato shot 16-of-18 from the free-throw line, while sophomore Janae McNeal went 5-of-8 from the charity stripe and finished with career highs of 11 points and six rebounds.
• Senior Aimee Oertner recorded her second double-double of the season after finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
• Army's 11-point comeback win marked its largest since coming back from 11 down at Holy Cross on Feb. 11, 2015, and winning, 53-51.

• UAlbany's only setback of the season came in 63-55 defeat at a Tennessee team that was ranked fourth in the AP Poll and fifth in the USA Today Coaches Poll at the time of the game.
• The Great Danes are receiving three votes in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll, and have been receiving votes in the poll for the entire season thus far.

The Army-UAlbany matchup presents a meeting between two of the leading scorers in the nation, as Minato (1,951 career points) and Richards (1,797 career points) rank fourth and sixth, respectively, among active scorers in the Division I ranks. Minato is averaging 23.0 ppg this season to rank 12th nationally, while Richards' 21.5 ppg is tie for the 17th-best average in the country.
