WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point returns to the hardwood on Sunday afternoon when it challenges the Binghamton Bearcats in Vestal, N.Y. Opening tip for the contest is set for 2 p.m. and it can be seen online on AmericaEast.TV.

STORYLINES
Army opened its 2015-16 season with a 39-point victory over Ferrum College on Friday night at Christl Arena. Binghamton also opened its season on Friday, falling 63-53 on the raod to St. Bonaventure.
Kevin Ferguson (18), Tanner Plomb (17) and Kyle Wilson (15) all scored in double figures on Friday night as Army made 37 field goals, a program best under head coach Zach Spiker.
The Black Knights posted a 15-15 record last season, including a 6-12 mark in Patriot League play. Army was 8-7 at home, including a 5-1 record in non-conference home games.
Army returns 91.6 percent of its scoring and 92.9 percent of its rebounding from last season, including seven seniors, which is tied for the most in program history. Army will return 140 of a possible 150 starts from the 2014-15 season with Dylan Cox, Kyle Wilson, Larry Toomey, Tanner Plomb and Kevin Ferguson returning for their senior season.
Wilson, led the Patriot League in scoring for the second consecutive season with 17.5 points per game as a junior. He is 15 points shy of Matt Brown '79, who is seventh in Academy history with 1,511 career points. Wilson's 1,496 points are the third-most all-time for a player entering his senior season. Only Gary Winton '78 (1,652) and Mark Lueking (1,510) had more points after three years.
Together, Wilson and Plomb were the top scoring duo in the Patriot League in 2014-15 with an average of 33.3 points per game. Wilson was second in scoring in the conference at 17.5 points per game, while Plomb ranked fourth overall with a 15.8 points per game average.
The Black Knights recently named their team captains. Seniors Cox, Wilson, Toomey and Plomb were chosen by their teammates. Cox is in his third season as a team captain, linking him with Matt Bell '07 as the only three-year captains in program history.
In a vote of the league's head coaches and sports information directors, Army was chosen fourth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll. The Black Knights have never finished higher than fourth in the final Patriot League standings.
Army hosted an exhibition game against Nyack College and a scrimmage versus Buffalo to prepare for the season.
