Men’s Soccer Begins Three-Match Homestand Sunday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's soccer team returns to the pitch on Sunday, Oct. 11 to begin a three-game homestand against Lehigh at 2 p.m. at Clinton Field.
Army comes into this weekend's match after earning its first point of the Patriot League season with a 1-1 draw at Holy Cross on Wednesday.
Army leads Lehigh, 20-19-6, in an all-time series between the schools dating back to 1922. The Black Knights and the Mountain Hawks have split their meetings over the last two seasons, with Army playing to a 1-0 victory at West Point in 2013 and Lehigh grabbing a 2-1 win in Bethlehem, Pa., last year.

• The Black Knights secured their first point of the Patriot League season with a 1-1 draw at Holy Cross on Wednesday.
• Senior Cody Guerry scored his first goal of the season for Army in the 13th minute as the Black Knights took advantage of a Holy Cross mistake to go up 1-0.

• Lehigh last played on Wednesday when it dropped a 3-1 decision at Navy.
• Mark Forrest netted his team-leading fifth goal of the season for the Mountain Hawks in the setback.
• Goalkeeper Joe Bogan made four saves in net against the Midshipmen.
• Lehigh's previous two Patriot League matches were against Holy Cross (L, 1-0) and Colgate (W, 1-0).
