THE GAME
The Army West Point women's rugby team will return to Anderson Rugby Complex for a 12 p.m. meeting with conference rival Norwich on Saturday. The match will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams as Army earned a 43-17 victory over the Cadets on the road on Sept. 19.
"Both teams suffered a bit of a hammering over the weekend so I'm sure they're pretty keen to put last week behind them and get back on a winning track," said head coach Matt Sherman. "It's going to be a testament to both sides, who actually wants it more because they didn't have a good day and we didn't have a good day. We've got a lot of work to do but I'm sure they do too. We know what to expect from them, we've played them a lot of times. We'll just have to make sure that we come out on top.
"Playing at home will definitely be an advantage. It's a beautiful place and hopefully we get a good crowd down here to support the girls. We have been doing really well. Norwich is Norwich. We know what to expect from them. They're a good team with good skills and they're well-coached. They're going through a bit of a rough time as every team does, but I wouldn't read too much in to it. It's a very competitive conference that we're in, so it will just be another good conference game."

The Black Knights are coming off of a 63-7 loss at the hands of national powerhouse Life last weekend.
Lindy Clark scored the only try of the game for Army, dotting down in 78th minute. Nicole Heavirland converted the kick to move the score of 63-7.
