Track Sends Split Squads To Lone Star State

WEST POINT, N.Y. - A select group of members of the Army track & field teams will head to Texas this weekend to compete in a pair of meets. The Black Knights will participate in both the Texas Relays hosted by the University of Texas and the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State.
Competition at both venues begins on Thursday. Each meet will wrap up on Saturday.
The Black Knights opened their outdoor season last week at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina. Eight Army athletes posted IC4A or ECAC qualifying times, while five Black Knights added their named to the program record book with all-time top 10 performances.
This weekend's meets in Texas are Army's final tune-ups before hosting arch-rival Navy on Saturday, April 5.
