Steve Tucker joined Army West Point Sports Properties as General Manager in February of 2015.
As the Academy’s exclusive multimedia rights partner, Army West Point Sports Properties manages all aspects of the corporate partner rights relationship, providing companies both traditional and new media opportunities with athletics in which to bolster their own brand and garner maximum exposure.
Tucker joined Army West Point Sports Properties from Learfield IMG College’s Penn State Sports Properties entity, where he served nearly four years as manager, business development spearheading corporate partnerships in support of the Nittany Lions.
Prior to his time in State College, Pa., Tucker spent time with Plum TV in New York City and FOX Cable Sports (SPEED Channel, FSN, FOX Soccer Channel and Fuel TV) based primarily in Chicago. At FOX, he was responsible for commercial advertising and multi-platform sponsorship sales for NASCAR, Big 12 and PAC 10 football, as well as for ACC and PAC 10 basketball.
His additional experience includes advertising sales for Raycom Sports.
Tucker graduated from Michigan State in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in history before beginning his career in advertising with Turner Entertainment Networks (TBS & TNT) in New York City.
Tucker and his wife, Deana, live in Cornwall, N.Y., and have three children, James, Artie and Maria
