Yancy Butler

- Assistant Men's Tennis Coach
Yancy Butler comes to West Point after a three-year stint at Mount Saint Mary College as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach. During his time with the Knights, Butler led the men’s tennis program to its first playoff berth in eight years.
Prior to his time at Mount Saint Mary College, Butler coached at Lancaster Bible College, where he also had a successful playing career.
The Long Island, N.Y. native led the Chargers to its second conference title in program history in 2021 as an assistant coach, just one year after leading the program to its first conference title as a player.
In addition to the conference title, Butler earned three All-Conference selections in both singles and doubles during his playing career at Lancaster Bible College.
Extending beyond his collegiate experience, Butler has also worked as a private tennis coach at Bent Creek Country Club.
Currently, Butler is a tennis professional at Match Point Tennis in Goshen, N.Y.
