Shane Bell returned to the Army West Point Athletics Department as the new Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director in September of 2025.
In his new role, Bell will serve on the Director of Athletics' Senior Leadership Team, overseeing internal operations, event operations, equipment operations, and camps, as well as taking on sport administration responsibilities.
A 2006 graduate of Mount Saint Mary College, Bell returned to his alma mater to serve as Director of Athletics. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Army West Point, where he oversaw event management, capital projects, and facilities maintenance.
He was also responsible for game day operations, scheduling, and contract procurement, and played a key role in the execution of the annual Army-Navy Game. Additionally, Bell contributed to the planning and design of the Michie Stadium Preservation Project.
Bell earned his bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Political Science and was a four-year letter winner on the college's baseball team. He completed his Master's in Sports Business Management from Manhattanville University in 2009.
