Mike Richard joined Army West Point Athletics in November 2013 as the Assistant Director of Marketing and has served as Associate Director of Marketing, Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing, Assistant Athletic Director of Digital Marketing, and now as Assistant Athletic Director of Revenue Strategy.
In his current role, Richard oversees leading strategies and full execution related to the department’s revenue generating marketing efforts including driving ticket sales, fundraising growth, analytics, as well as cultivating fan communications through social, web, microsites, email, and marketing automation campaigns.
During his time at Army, Richard has aided in launch of the annual Army-Navy uniform campaign in partnership with Nike and the U.S. Military Academy’s History Department since the initial 2016 season unveiling to honor the 82nd Airborne Division.
Also, in conjunction with Nike, Richard took part in launching a successful rebranding initiative during the spring of 2015. This included a new logo and word mark for Army West Point.
Richard holds a Master of Science degree in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of New England.
Richard is originally from New Boston, New Hampshire. He currently resides in Highland Falls with his wife Katherine, Daughter Mila, and Mini Poodle Daisy.
