Krissy Kowalski joined Army West Point in April 2025 as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.
Kowalski arrived at West Point from Bowling Green State University where she served as a Strategic Communications Coordinator. In this role, she was responsible for all communication efforts for the ice hockey, tennis, and men’s and women’s golf teams
The Manhasset, N.Y. native, graduated with a Master of Arts in communication and a certificate in Athletic Leadership in May 2024 from Clemson University. Kowalski was a two-year letterwinner on the lacrosse team. Notably, Kowalski was a member of the first-ever lacrosse team at Clemson University.
In her time at Clemson University, she worked as a graduate student assistant in the athletic communications department. In this role, Kowalski worked with a variety of sports programs including working with the football and soccer programs. In her time working with the Tigers, both the men’s and women’s soccer programs made it to the College Cup, while the men’s program won their second national championship in three years. Additionally, Kowalski worked with the gymnastics program during their inaugural season, notably working the first-ever home gymnastics meet in Clemson, S.C.
Before her time with the Tigers, Kowalski was a member of the Penn women’s lacrosse team from 2018-2022. Kowalski was a four-year letterwinner with the Red and Blue. Kowalski graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in American Sign Language in May 2022.
