Kenny McGovern joined the Army A Club staff in July 2025 and serves as the Assistant Director Development Communications. McGovern will be responsible for the communications efforts in support of the Athletics Development team.
McGovern comes to West Point after three years in Marist Athletics Sports Information department. While at Marist, he served as the graphic design director for the athletic department. As lead graphic designer he appeared multiple times on SkullSparks, the nation’s top college sports creative network.
McGovern also served as the primary contact for men’s soccer, swimming and diving, water polo, and baseball. As a sports information director, he led game day operations and served as social media administrator for each sport.
McGovern graduated with his master’s degree in marketing from Marist University in May 2025. He received his bachelor’s degree in sports media at St. Bonaventure University in May 2022.
McGovern is a native of Hopewell Junction, New York.
