- Title:
- Equipment Manager (Hockey)
Pane serves as the Hockey Equipment Manager for Army West Point Athletics, overseeing all day-to-day equipment operations for the men’s hockey program. He manages skate services, equipment maintenance and repair, locker room organization, inventory systems, and the supervision and development of four cadet equipment managers. His role ensures that Army Hockey is fully prepared for training, travel, and competition.
A second-generation equipment manager, Pane follows in the footsteps of his father, Mark, who spent more than 30 years in the profession and represented the United States at multiple international hockey tournaments. Pane’s career path reflects that legacy, beginning at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he served as the Student Assistant Equipment Manager for Hockey, continuing the family tradition at the same institution.
Pane joined Army West Point after serving as the Women’s Hockey Equipment Manager at the University of Vermont, where he oversaw equipment operations, ordering, apparel management, and daily support for the program. He also worked with USA Hockey as the U16 Boys National Camp Equipment Manager, assisting with skate sharpening, laundry, and gear repair during national-level development programming.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Pane is the son of Mark and Lisa and has two siblings—an older brother, Kyle, and a younger sister, Emma. He currently resides in Fort Mongomery.
