Allie Ryan joined the Army West Point Athletic Association as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in September 2021.
Ryan primarily works with Army’s men's rugby program. She develops and executes rehabilitation programs for injuries, while working closely with coaches, doctors, and the strength staff.
Prior to arriving at West Point, Ryan spent two years at Texas State University as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and Graduate Teaching Assistant. She completed her master’s degree in Post-Professional Athletic Training in May of 2021. While obtaining her degree, she provided care for the Bobcats’ men’s and women’s track and field, cross-country, and women’s basketball programs, as well as taught labs in the university’s undergraduate athletic training education program.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Merrimack College in May of 2019.
Ryan is a certified athletic trainer through the Board of Certification, and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. She is currently American Red Cross CPR/AED certified and First Aid certified.
Ryan, originally from Northborough, M.A., now resides in Cornwall, N.Y.
