2025-26: November 2: Opened the season with a 1-2 mark at the Princeton Open…November 9: Wrestled at Journeyman Classic…November 16: Recorded a win by fall over Mercyhurst’s Gino Guerrisi at the Black Knight Open…November 23: Was 1-2 at the Black Knight Invite.
2024-25: Finished 7-7 overall…November 3: Was 3-1 Princeton Open to begin year, good for second place in the heavyweight flight…November 10: Picked up win at Journeyman Classic over LIU’s Chris Powell…November 24: Recorded sudden victory win over Columbia’s Sungyup Ryu at Black Knight Invitational…January 10: Went 2-2 at F&M Open.
Prior to West Point: Attended Homer High School in Homer, N.Y….Was a three-time New York State wrestling champion, also won a Wyoming State title…Was an Honorable Mention All-American…Was an Honor Roll student…Played football and lacrosse in high school…Also wrestled for Pit Crew wrestling…Grandfather Charlie Gustafson served in Vietnam, and grandfather Gary Sorenson served in rotation to Italy after 9/11…Enjoys snowmobiling and hunting outside of wrestling.
