MILESTONES: Named Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week on Feb. 11, 2013 following a technical fall victory and a pin in dual wins over American and Boston University.
2015-16: Wrestled to an overall record of 21-12 at 197 pounds … went 6-3 in dual meets … finished third on the team in wins, dual wins and technical falls … tied for fifth on the team in bonus-point wins in his senior campaign … posted a single-season personal best four technical falls … became the first wrestler in program history to be invited to the NWCA All-Star Classic … dropped a 15-10 decision to UT-Chattanooga’s Scottie Boykin (11/1) … placed second at the N.Y. State Championships on (11/22) … earned his 10th-career pin over Paul Steinmetz of New York Univ. at 2:48 … fell to teammate Rocco Caywood, 3-1, in the championship match … finished seventh at the Cliff Keen Invitational on (12/4-5) … posted a record of 5-2 at the tournament … wrestled at the Southern Scuffle on (1/1-2) … won seven-straight matches from Jan. 10-30 … clinched the team’s first All-Academy Championship victory in eight years by defeating Parker Hines, 6-2, in the finals (1/30) … placed second at the EIWA Championships (3/5-6) … defeated Navy’s No. 21 Michael Woulfe, 9-8, in the quarterfinals … lost to No. 11 Brett Harner of Princeton, 14-4, in championship bout … one of five NCAA Qualifiers for Army … became one of three wrestlers in program history to qualify for the NCAA tournament four times.
2014-15: Went 19-8 at 197 pounds, including a 5-2 mark in dual matches … ranked third on the team with seven major decisions … earned an 11-3 major decision over Ralph Normandia against No. 23 Rutgers at the Grapple at the Garden (12/21) … won the championship at the All-Academy Championships (2/7) … wrestled to three straight major decisions from Jan. 25 to Feb. 7 … finished fifth at the EIWA Championships from March 6 to March 7 … collected a 16-4 major decision versus Sacred Heart’s Sasha Oliinyk at the EIWA Championships (3/6) … one of four Black Knights to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
