2021-22: Started in 16 of the 27 games she played in. She notched a career-best eight assists at Boston University (1/12). The point guard finished four games with double-digit points with a high of 19 against Boston University (2/9). Against Bryant (12/8) she scored 12 points, dished out five assists and recorded four steals.
2020-21: Saw action in 20 games and made 11 starts … Shot .388 from the field and .375 from 3-point range … averaged 18.2 minutes per game … totaled 25 assists on the season … Tallied a season-high 12 points, shooting 3-of-4 from beyond-the-arc against Navy (Jan. 24).
Prior To West Point: Attended Fairfax High School where she was teammates with Melanie George … Earned all-conference nods all four years of playing, including landing a spot on the first team three times … Additionally was tabbed second team all-region her sophomore, junior and senior seasons … With Chantilly Elite Showcase, her AAU squad, she won USJN Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2019 … Also competed in track.
Personal: Samantha McNaughton was a member of the German Honors Society and DECA while in high school … Her major is systems engineering.
