2021: Racked up a 6-2 record in singles play, which included a 2-0 mark against Patriot League opponents … Went 3-4 in doubles … Four of his wins throughout the year came in straight sets … Boosted the team to its win over Lehigh during the Patriot League Tournament with a three-set decision (April 24) … Finished the year on a five-match winning streak.
2020: In his sophomore season, Gorshein collected an even 4-4 record in singles play and 7-5 in doubles competition ... after a tough loss to Schulenburg from Harvard to open up the spring portion of their season, he went on a four match win streak against UCONN, Binghamton, Morgan State and St. Bonaventure ... took Air Forces No. 3 Jordan Azuma to three sets (7-6, 4-6, 4-6) ... played with three different doubles partners however majority of the season alongside Sam Eden ... the duo's strongest performance of the season came against Nicholas Gore and Luke Riemann with a 6-0 sweep.
2019: Began his plebe year going 5-8 during the spring in singles play ... went 14-10 in doubles action ... opened up the season with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 win over Anthony Pero of Michigan State ... followed with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Cody Lin of Yale ... began Patriot League play with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Peter Campito of Holy Cross ... also secured a PL victory against Pedro Gutierrez of Boston, 6-2, 6-2 ... took down Jake Fishkin of Navy in the Patriot League Tournament final, 6-1, 6-2 ... playing alongside senior David Mitchell, the duo led the Black Knights with 14 doubles victories.
Personal: Graduated from Lake Mary High School ... was a 2016 Florida state doubles champion ... semifinalist in 2018 in both singles and doubles state championships ... three-time Seminole County Player of the Year, as well as three-time First Team All-Area ... grandfather played in the Davis Cup ... majoring in International Relations with a minor Terrorism Studies ... company H-2.
