CPT Bill Day enters his second year as the Director of Operations for the Army West Point hockey team.

A native of Vienna, Va., Day competed on the Army hockey team for four years playing in over 100 career games before graduating with a Management degree in 2012, and commissioning as a Signal Officer.

Upon completion of the Signal Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Gordon in December of 2012, Day was assigned to Fort Carson, Colo. From January 2013 to Decemeber 2014, he was a Platoon Leader in Bravo Company, 2^nd Special Troops Battalion, 2^ND Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4^th Infantry Division.

From December 2014 to June 2016, Day then served as the Battalion S6 for the 4^th Engineer Battalion out of Fort Carson before returning to West Point in June of 2016.
