Major Jacqueline Harris is the Director of Operations for the Army West Point men's basketball team, responsible for team and game day operations to include, season planning, facilities, travel, logistics, meal support, project management and visiting team operations.
She is the primary liaison between the men's basketball team and the Office of the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Prior to her first season on the basketball staff in 2017, MAJ Harris was the Director of Volleyball Operations at Army. Before joining that team, she served as a professor in USMA's Department of Systems Engineering, instructing classes in project management, operations management and engineering economy.
Harris has served in the Army for 11 years as an Engineer Officer. During that time, she held various positions including platoon leader, executive officer, personnel officer, and company commander in Fort Hood, Texas, Iraq and Afghanistan with the 62nd and 8th Engineer Battalion. She received her Bachelors of Science in Business from Wake Forest University and her Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
