Jocelyn Zaneski was promoted to the Director of Football Academic Support in June 2024.
She has academic oversight for the football and women’s lacrosse teams. Zaneski provides counseling and guidance to cadet-athletes regarding academic development as well as monitoring eligibility, advisement, and assisting in the recruitment of prospective cadet-athletes. She also serves as an instructor for the Student Success course, RS100.
Jocelyn was hired as an Athletic Academic Support Coordinator in the Center for Enhanced Performance in July 2022. Prior to arriving at West Point, Zaneski spent a year at The University of Texas at Arlington where she worked with the men’s and women’s track and field and cross country teams. She also worked for a year at Florida State University as an Academic Advisor/Learning Specialist Coordinator for the men’s basketball and softball teams. Zaneski’s career in the field of Athletic Academic Support began as a Graduate Assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She spent two years serving eight Olympic sports teams in FDU’s Office for Academic and Student-Athlete Support Services.
Zaneski holds a Master of Arts degree in Student Services Administration with a specialization in Intercollegiate Sports Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Psychology from SUNY Cobleskill.
She has been a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) since 2018.
A native of Riverhead, New York, Jocelyn currently resides in Highland Falls.
