2021-22: Started in 28 of the 29 games she played in for Army. She led the team in rebounding averaging 9.5 a game and ranked in the nation’s top 50 in the category. She led the Patriot League in offense rebounds per game (4.0) and ranked 15th in the nation in the category. Hunter finished 15 games with 10 or more rebounds. She averaged 10.9 ppg and finished the season with a career-best 13 double-doubles. Against LIU (12/1), she scored 24 points while ripping down 14 rebounds. In a midweek battle with American (1/19) the forward recorded a season-best 17 rebounds. She earned All-Patriot League Third Team honors and was named Patriot League Player of the Week once during the season.
2020-21: Appeared in 15 games and earned a spot in the starting lineup once during her sophomore year … Average 7.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per tilt … Posted five double-digit scoring performances … Made her season debut against Colgate (Jan. 2), marking her first contest back since suffering a season-ending injury during her freshman year … Poured in a game-high 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting in Army’s win over Holy Cross (Feb. 7).
2019-20: Appeared in eight games and made five starts before suffering a season-ending injury … Had five double-digit scoring efforts and three double-doubles … Against St. Francis on Nov. 16, she corralled 17 rebounds and dropped 16 points.
Prior to West Point: Four-time first team all-conference honoree for Austintown Fitch High School, which she captained her junior and senior seasons … school’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder … was a First Team All-Northeast Ohio Region selection in 2019, in addition to collecting all-Ohio academic honors … received All-Ohio Honorable Mention her junior and senior seasons.
Personal: Sabria Hunter was a member of the National Honor Society … she served on the student council and was her class secretary … majoring in engineering.
