Prior to West Point: A two-year letterwinner in football at Woodberry Forest School … also earned three letters in both indoor track & field and outdoor track & field … garnered All-Prep and Second Team All-State honors as an outside linebacker … football team won prep league championships in 2014 and 2015 … competed in the 55m hurdles, high jump and triple jump in indoor track & field … named Most Valuable Field Athlete during his high school career … a two-time all-state selection in triple jump … competed in 110m hurdles, triple jump, high jump, discus and 300m hurdles as an outdoor track & field athlete … captained both track & field squads as a senior.
