Baseball’s Dubrule Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point baseball's David Dubrule has been named Patriot League Player of the Week on Monday, after helping lead the Black Knights to a sweep at Lafayette on March 21-22.

The freshman batted a combined .500 in games this week, including a 7-for-14 series at Lafayette in Army's three-game sweep. He had six RBIs on the week, including four in the Lafayette series. Playing a doubleheader at Lafayette on Saturday, Dubrule was a combined 6-for-9 at the plate, with a pair of RBIs in each game.

Army was 4-0 on the week, having defeated UAlbany in a Wednesday midweek contest before the Lafayette series sweep. The Black Knights have won four consecutive games as well as five of their past six.
