Women’s Tennis’ Smith Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's tennis' Madison Smith has been named Patriot League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for March 10.
Smith stood tall in the No. 1 singles slot, with a pair of singles wins over Delaware's Maryia Hrynashka and Fordham's Nevena Kolarevic, the latter of which clinched Army's team win.
Army would come back from a loss to Delaware on March 7 to defeat Hofstra later in the day and knocked off Fordham on March 8 to secure a winning weekend.
The Black Knights stand at 16-4 overall and 2-0 in Patriot League matches in 2025-26. Individually, Smith is 6-2 in No. 1 singles matches this spring, and 8-5 in No. 1 doubles.
