Men’s Tennis Falls to Air Force

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Army West Point men's tennis team fell 4-2 to Air Force on Saturday evening at the USTA National Campus.
Army (7-1) battled tough but couldn't quite get ahead over Air Force (7-1). The Falcons opened action by taking the doubles point with a 6-2 win in the top spot and a 6-3 win at No. 3 to take the early 1-0 advantage.
Air Force doubled its lead with a victory at No. 6 to make it 2-0. Army got on the board after Alan Ton recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win in the third singles spot. The Falcons extended its lead to 3-1 with a victory at No. 5.
Jackson Armistead kept Army within striking distance with a come-from-behind 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win in the top spot. The Falcons clinched the match with three-set win at No. 2.
