Swimming & Diving Sweeps Patriot League Weekly Awards

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point swimming & diving turned in big performances in the Army Invite last weekend and swept this week's Patriot League weekly awards for their impressive work.
Johnny Crush and Molly Webber claimed the Swimmer of the Week titles while Jack McDaniel and Hadley Futch earned the Diver of the Week titles. Futch also earned the women's Rookie of the Week title while Cohen Laylo brought home the men's Rookie of the Week title.
Crush earned his 10th career Swimmer of the Week title after earning the No. 2 swim in the country as ranked by SwimCloud over the weekend. The Louisville, Ky. native lead off Army's men's 400 medley relay team to an overall 3:04.10 in the event.
The time stands as the 13th fastest time in the men's 400 medley relay this season and set a program record, Crandall Pool record, and Patriot League record in addition to qualifying the quartet for the 2026 NCAA Championships.
Crush's leadoff time for the event of 44.10 in the 100 back set a program record, Crandall Pool record, and Patriot League record in addition to clocking in as the third-fastest time in the NCAA this season for the event.
Molly Webber earned her sixth career Swimmer of the Week title after earning the top swim in the Patriot League as ranked by SwimCloud at the Army Invite. The senior from Morris Plains, N.J. clocked a 1:59.70 in the women's 200 IM to claim first place.
Her time, the first sub-2:00 in the women's 200 IM in the league this season, stands as the fastest time in the league this season for the event as well as clocking in as the second-fastest time in the event in Army program history.
Hadley Futch earned her second women's Diver of the Week title and first women's Rookie of the Week title after earning first place on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards this weekend. Futch cleared the NCAA Zone Cut on both boards with a 302.03 on the 1-meter board and a 313.43 on the 3-meter board.
Futch's 1-meter score set a new program record, replacing the previous record of 298.57 set by Lindsay Adao in 2008.
Jack McDaniel secured the men's Diver of the Week title after logging a pair of second-place finishes on the boards for the Black Knights at the Army Invite. McDaniel first scored a 310.88 on the 1-meter board before earning a 338.10 on the 3-meter board.
McDaniel cleared the NCAA Zone Cut on both boards to reaffirm his trip to the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships in March.
Cohen Laylo put up a set of strong performances on the boards at the Army Invite as he earned first place on the 3-meter board and secured fourth place on the 1-meter board (259.28).
Laylo scored a 345.83 on the 3-meter board to clear the NCAA Zone Cut threshold and log the highest score on the 3-meter board by an Army men's diver this season.
