15 Black Knights Named to 2024-25 Atlantic Hockey America All-Academic Team

BOSTON, Mass. – Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) announced Wednesday their 2024-25 All-Academic Team. The conference recognized 247 student-athletes and the Black Knights saw 15 team members earn recognition for their efforts on the ice and in the classroom over the 2024-25 season with sophomore Nik Hong earning recognition as one of the conference's 23 Student-Athletes of the Year.
The AHA All-Academic Team honors student-athletes who earned at least a 3.0 GPA for both semesters in the 2024-25 academic year while the conference's Student-Athletes of the Year earn recognition for recording a 4.0 GPA over the 2024-25 academic year.
Army West Point hockey saw a strong season on the ice and in the classroom as they combined for the highest team GPA among all Army athletic teams and placed 15 team members on the AHA All-Academic Team, the highest representation they have had on the team since 2021.
Easton Zueger, Ben Ivey, Jack Ivey, Vincent Salice, Dylan Wegner, Josh Bohlin, Sam Groebner, Noah Alvarez, Nik Hong, Andrew Garby, Barron Woodring, Joey Dosan, Brent Keefer, JJ Cataldo, and Evan Szary represented the Black Knights on the team with Hong earning Student-Athlete of the Year honors as well.
Bohlin, Garby, and Szary graduate having earned a place on the conference's All-Academic team in all four seasons of their collegiate career. Zueger, Salice, Hong, and Woodring each earned a place on the 2023-24 team for their work last season. Eight of Army's nine plebes earned places on the list to round out the Black Knights' 15 team members to earn recognition.
