Meghan Pedrani Named to Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Academic All-League Team

BETHLEHEM, PA - Army West Point women's lacrosse junior defender Meghan Pedrani was named to the Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Academic All-League Team, announced today by the conference.
Pedrani has excelled in the classroom and on the field for the Black Knights, earning first team all-conference laurels earlier this week while maintaining a 3.899 cumulative GPA as a civil engineering major in the Corps. It marks the second straight season in which Pedrani has received the honor as one of the top scholar-athletes in the conference.
Pedrani earned her all-conference nod after a standout season defensively, leading all defenders on Army's top-ranked defense in the conference in both caused turnovers with 19 and ground balls with 22. She had five separate games with multiple caused turnovers and multiple ground balls with season-highs of four caused turnovers against Rutgers and four ground balls at Holy Cross. Pedrani also comitted just 15 fouls on the season with only two green cards.
