Army West Point Athletics Announces 10-Year Contract Extension with Nike
December 13, 2025 | General
WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point Athletics and Nike have agreed to a 10-year extension of their long-standing apparel and footwear partnership, continuing a relationship that has outfitted cadet–athletes in the Black and Gold for over two decades.
The extended agreement further strengthens Nike's commitment to the U.S. Military Academy by expanding support across all 30 Army West Point intercollegiate athletic programs. Additionally, Nike will enhance its involvement in the annual Army-Navy Game uniform reveal and promotional efforts — continuing one of college football's most unique and meaningful uniform traditions.
This season marks the 10th year of the collaborative uniform series between Army Football, the United States Military Academy's Department of History and War Studies, and Nike, a storytelling initiative introduced in 2016 that honors the heroes, heritage, and missions of the U.S. Army. Since the official launch of the rivalry uniform series, Army holds a 6–3 record against Navy in the Army-Navy Game.
"Nike, a brand built to provide inspiration and innovation for every athlete in the world — anchored in the values the United States Military Academy represents and the leaders it forges. Our continued partnership with Nike reflects a shared commitment to showcasing the very best of America's next generation of leaders," said Army West Point Director of Athletics, Tom Theodorakis. "We are proud to announce the next era of our partnership with Nike, a brand built on inspiring athletes and elevating excellence. Together, we will continue to strengthen our identity, elevate our performance, and compete for championships in the years ahead. We're grateful to everyone who contributed to this process, including LEONA, whose guidance as a trusted advisor was invaluable."
Nike has served as the exclusive provider of Army West Point athletic uniforms, footwear, and apparel since 2009. Through this renewed agreement, cadet–athletes will benefit from advancements in performance technology and a strategic approach to brand elevation on both national and global stages.
