Men’s Rugby Sees Seven Named to Rugby East Fall 2025 All-Conference Teams

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point men's rugby saw seven players named to the Fall 2025 Rugby East All-Conference teams.
Seniors Gabe Savage and George Engels were named to the first team, senior Andrew Bardak and juniors Landin Jacon-Duffy and Howie Heller received second team honors, and junior Chance Loudenback and freshman John Benson garnered honorable mention accolades.
Savage recorded tries in Army's road fixtures at Guelph and Mary Washington, accumulating five starts over the fall campaign. Engels matched Savage's output with tries vs. Mary Washington and Mount St. Mary's (MD), also earning five fall starts.
Bardak and Jacon-Duffy started in all but two matches for the Black Knights this past fall, with two tries each. Meanwhile Heller was Army's points leader across the nine fall matchups, with 62 points scattered across a try, 15 conversions and nine penalties.
Loudenback and Benson meanwhile led Army with six tries each.
The Black Knights went 7-2 overall in the fall, with the spring 2026 schedule set to be announced in the coming weeks.
