WEST POINT, N.Y. (Nov. 1, 2025) – Army West Point Athletics and RIVET, an innovator and leader in the defense technology industry, announced today a strategic collaboration that names RIVET a Premier Partner of the Black Knights and includes multiple game sponsorship opportunities across various Black Knight sports.
Like Army West Point, RIVET is focused on building leaders and equipping them to perform under pressure. RIVET is laser-focused on the people who build and protect our world, delivering frontline-ready systems designed for the toughest missions.
"With Army West Point Athletics, everything we do centers on developing leaders of character who thrive under pressure," said Tom Theodorakis, Army West Point Director of Athletics. "This partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and service, and we're proud to welcome RIVET into the Army West Point community."
"Army West Point sets the standard for developing leaders who perform when it matters most," said Dave Marra, CEO, RIVET. "RIVET's integrated, Soldier-worn systems are built for those same moments—delivering reliable, real-time awareness at the edge and seamless connectivity from individual to command. We're proud to partner with the Black Knights and to invest in the next generation of leaders."
The collaboration between Army Athletics and RIVET, facilitated by Army West Point Sports Properties, provides RIVET with a pair of associate football game sponsorships for the Nov. 8 home game against Temple and the Nov. 22 contest versus Tulsa. RIVET branding will also appear on the Army coaches' booth in prominent TV-visible locations for both meetings at Michie Stadium.
Army's Veterans Day basketball contest against Duke also features RIVET as the presenting sponsor, while RIVET returns as the presenting sponsor for the hockey series against Air Force on Nov. 21-22. Through the partnership, RIVET also receives intellectual property rights to utilize Army West Point Athletics logos and marks in brand marketing assets.
"RIVET is the perfect partner for the Black Knights as the two share such a common purpose on the ground and in the field," said Steve Tucker, General Manager of Army West Point Sports Properties. "We're thrilled to have their support of our cadet-athletes and look forward to advancing the mission of both parties together."
Army West Point Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college athletics – is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Army West Point Athletics and oversees all sponsorship arrangements on behalf of the Black Knights.
