Swimming & Diving Bests Boston University & Boston College at Double Dual Meet

BOSTON, Mass. – Army West Point swimming & diving put on a show in Boston on Friday evening for their double dual meet against Boston University and Boston College to earn wins over both opponents for both the men's and the women's teams.
The Black Knights collected 15 first place finishes over the course of the meet, eight of which came from the women's team.

The Black Knights were strong in the water, claiming a pool record at the FitRec Competition Pool with a 1:27.49 in the men's 200 medley relay from Joey Kling, Kohen Rankin, Daniel Verdolaga, and Thomas Hadji in the meet's opening event before Rankin went on to set an individual pool record in the men's 100 breast with a 52.50 to finish first.

The Black Knights were efficient from the jump on the women's side with eight event wins in the double dual meet including two wins each for Hadley Futch and Molly Webber. Futch swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards for the diving team while Webber claimed first place in the women's 100 and 200 free events.
Webber set a program record in the 200 free with a hand-timed 1:46.42 during the meet, then followed it up with a 1:46.26 as a time trial after the meet to break Clara Williams' program record of 1:46.73 set in 2024.

Army will return to Crandall Pool over Thursday-Friday, November 6-7 to face Penn State. The diving portion of the meet will commence at 5 p.m. on November 6 with the swimming portion of the meet to follow at 4 p.m. November 7.
