Baseball Announces Kevin Ketvirtis as Assistant Coach

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Baseball head coach Chris Tracz has announced Kevin Ketvirtis as assistant baseball coach. Ketvirtis heads into his first season in 2025.

"I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to join the baseball coaching staff at Army West Point," said Ketvirtis. "I'm excited to get to work with a great group and help develop future leaders."

Ketvirtis comes to West Point from William & Mary, where he spent three seasons with the Tribe as Volunteer Assistant Coach. While in Williamsburg, Ketvirtis assisted in the development of hitters, oversaw outfield development, served as director of camps, collected and analyzed data and served as first base coach.Â
Â
Ketvirtis was part of three CAA Tournament squads and saw six players earn All-CAA accolades.
Â
Before William & Mary, Ketvirtis served as assistant coach at Division II Carson-Newman University in Tennessee, where he worked with the outfielders and assisted with the hitters.

Additionally, in 2021, Ketvirtis was head coach of the Myrtle Beach 8's, a team in the Ripken Experience Collegiate Summer League.Â

Prior to his time at Carson-Newman, Ketvirtis coached for three years at his alma mater, Siena Heights University in Adrian, Mich. from 2019-21. In his roles as graduate assistant and later assistant coach, the native Michigander oversaw hitters, infielders, baserunners, and catching. He also coached the bases and organized summer camps and youth tournaments.Â

Ketvirtis played four years of baseball at Siena Heights before graduating with a degree in Business Administration in May 2018. During his coaching stint at SHU, the former player earned his Master's Degree in August 2020.

Outside of baseball, Ketvirtis was a Siena Heights' Sports Information Director during the 2018-19 academic year, serving as the primary media and statistics contact for seven SHU athletics programs.Â

Ketvirtis was raised in Romeo, Mich. and graduated from Romeo High School.
