WEST POINT, N.Y. – Head Coach Tracy Chao has announced the 2024 Army West Point women's soccer schedule this morning.
The Black Knights look to win their third regular season Patriot League championship as Tracy Chao is coming off back-to-back Patriot League Coach of the Year awards.
Army returns six of its eight All-Patriot League Team members (Kaelan Bradley, Brigid Duffy, Sage Strohman, Cami Silvestro, Jordan Follenweider, and Keira Vesy).
The slate features 11 home games, including Navy and six road games featuring a trip to Air Force.
Since taking over, Coach Chao and the Black Knights are an impressive 25-5-4 at Malek Stadium at Clinton Field.
The season will start with an exhibition at Delaware on Aug. 10, before regular season action kicks off with a six-game homestand at Malek Stadium at Clinton Field.
Six games at home to start the season is a new program record for most games at home to kick off the season breaking the previous high of five in 1996. This comes a year after setting the program record for most road games to start a season with five of the first six games away from home last season which was also the most in all of Division I. Out of every team to announce their schedule so far, six home games is the most of any school to open a season.
The regular season kicks off with Wake Forest coming to West Point on Aug. 15 at 6pm. Last season the Black Knights battled the Demon Deacons to a 1-1 draw in Winston-Salem, NC. This will be the second time the two schools play.
Manhattan comes to town on Aug. 18 for a matinee at 1pm. The Black Knights are 9-2-0 all-time against the Jaspers. UMass is next up at 3pm on Aug. 18. This will be the second time these two programs play, the first was an Army win in 2013.
Three days later Central Connecticut State rolls into West Point on Aug. 25 for a 3pm game. Army is 4-1-1 against the Blue Devils. Samford makes the trip to West Point on Aug. 28 for a 6pm game. The Black Knights earned a draw on the road in their only previous match up. The home stand wraps up with Providence on Sept. 1 at 1pm. Army is 2-1-0 against the Friars all-time.
Two massive road games start the away campaign for the Black Knights. First is Minnesota at 7pm on Sept. 5 and then a trip to Air Force on Sept. 13 at 6pm. Army is 0-1-0 against the Gophers and 9-9-2 against the Falcons in their history.
Last season Army beat both Air Force and Navy in the same season for the first time since 2004 and only the third time in program history. The Black Knights have the chance to do it in back-to-back seasons for the first time this upcoming season.
In non-conference play, Army is a combined 25-14-5 against its 2024 opponents all-time.
Patriot League play opens with American coming to West Point on Sept. 20 at 5pm. Holy Cross makes the trip to Malek Stadium on Sept. 25 at 6pm. Army heads to Bucknell on Sept. 28 in a rematch of the past two Patriot League Championship games.

Army closes regular season play with two straight road games with Colgate on Oct. 26 at 6pm and then Boston U on Oct. 30.
