April 14, 2024 | Baseball
EASTON, Pa. – Army West Point Baseball dropped Sunday's series finale at Lafayette, but still came back home as series winners after taking both games in Saturday's doubleheader.
Â
Army moves to 19-16 overall and 9-5 in the Patriot League.
Â
A weather delay was called with two outs in the top of the third, as a lighting cell moved through the Greater Lehigh Valley region.Â
Â
Derek Berg homered in the game's second at-bat, giving the Black Knights a 1-0 lead in the opening frame.Â
Â
However, the Leopards would tie the contest in the second and take a permanent lead in the third.

Â
Starting pitcher Steven Graver took the loss, tossing three innings. Bryce Brownlee, Joe Valchar and Joel Rubin each made appearances out of the bullpen.
