Rabble Rousers Cheer Team Has Strong Showing to Conclude NCA Nationals

DAYTONA, FL - The Army West Point Rabble Rousers cheer team wrapped up competition from NCA Nationals in Daytona on Friday.
The Black Knights landed in the seventh-place in the Intermediate Large Coed Division IA with a raw score of 82.6333 and event score of 90.3657 in Friday's finals performance.
Both marks saw improvements from Thursday's prelims, as the team also improved from its ninth-place finish in the same division from 2023.
Army had just 2.0 deduction points across both performances, marking a prominent improvement from 2023 which saw 6.5 in the same category.Â
The Black Knights were also able to outscore the Air Force Academy in both the prelims and finals, as the University of Missouri claimed the top spot in the division.
The unprecedented marks for the program's cheer team at Nationals were also joined by the pom team who competed for the first time ever in the event earlier in the week.
