Rabble Rousers Cheer Team Shines at Nationals; Advancing to Friday's Finals

DAYTONA, FL - The Army West Point Rabble Rousers cheer team completed day one of competition at NCA Nationals from the Ocean Center in Daytona, Florida.
The Black Knights had a strong showing in Thursday's prelims, tabbing a raw score of 81.4667 and event score of .8977 to place seventh in the division and advance to Friday's finals session.
Among the ten teams in Army's division, the Black Knights had the second-smallest deduction with just .75 after the stellar performance. The University of Missouri claimed the top spot with a mark of .9479.
Army also topped a fellow service academy in Air Force, who placed ninth in the division.
The Cheer Team will return on Friday at 7:44 p.m from the Ocean Center Arena for its finals performance. FULL FRIDAY SCHEDULE.
