Hardy Named Second-Team All-Patriot League and Hastick All-Rookie Team

BETHLEHEM, PA – The Patriot League announced its 2023-24 Women's Basketball All-League Teams and major award winners. Army West Point Junior Trinity Hardy was selected as a Second-Team All-Patriot League selection and freshman Fiona Hastick was selected to the All-Patriot League Rookie Team.
Hardy, a native of Winter Haven, Fla., has played in 28 games, starting in 18, leading the team in scoring, averaging 11.5 points per game. Her best scoring streak of the season came when scoring in double figures in five straight games from 1/17 to 1/31, averaging 14.2 points in that span. Defensively, she logged 54 steals (1.9 per game) which ranked third best in the Patriot League. This season, she won Patriot League Player of the Week once (2/12), following her performance leading Army to beat Navy in the annual Star Series matchup, scoring a career-high 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting adding eight rebounds, five assists and one steal to her stat line.
Hastick, from Reston, VA becomes the second Army Women's Basketball player to be named to the All-Rookie team in the last two seasons, joining Reese Ericson, who was the Rookie of the Year, a season ago in 2022-23. Hastick averaged 9.1 points per game, which was third-best on the team. She played in 28 games, starting 24 of them. Her best performance came in a big win over Holy Cross, scoring a season-high 24 points. In a five-game stretch from 2/14 to 2/27, she scored in double figures five straight times, averaging 16.4 points in that span.
