Hardy Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point junior guard, Trinity Hardy was named Patriot League PenFed Credit Union Women's Basketball Player of the Week, matching a career-high 23 points on 10-16 shooting (.63%) to lead Army to a 70-58 win over rival Navy on Saturday at West Point. She also added eight rebounds, five assists and one steal in her efforts. 17 of her 23 points came in the first half, as she helped set the tempo, leading Army out to a 13-point halftime lead, 38-25.
The Lakeland, Fla native has started in 17 of 21 games this season for the Black Knights, averaging 11.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game (second most in Patriot League).
She has scored double figures in six of the last seven games, averaging 14.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals in that span as Army is 6-1 in those games.
For Army, it marked its fifth consecutive win over Navy and Saturday's contest was a part of Army and Navy's annual Star Series presented by USAA.
For Hardy, it is her first time taking home a weekly Patriot League award.
