Daily Selected to Davey O’Brien Great 8 for Week 14

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point senior quarterback Bryson Daily was named to the Davey O'Brien Great 8 list for the fifth time this season for his performance in Army's 29-24 win over UTSA on Saturday.
Daily was also named to the 'Great 8' list for his performances vs. Rice (Week 4), Tulsa (Week 6), vs. UAB (Week 7), and vs. East Carolina (Week 8).
He tied for first nationally in 'Great 8's' this season with Kyle McCord (Syracuse), Shedeur Sanders (Colorado) and Cam Ward (Miami). All three of those QBs played in 12 games compared to Daily's 10, pending AAC championship and the Army-Navy Game.
Daily ran for two fourth-quarter touchdowns to propel the Black Knights to a perfect 8-0 mark in the teams' first season in the American Athletic Conference and finish the regular season a perfect 6-0 at Michie Stadium.
Daily rushed for 147 yards and two scores on 27 carries (5.4 avg.), setting the Army mark for most 100-yard games in a season with nine, all of which have come in consecutive games.
Daily was also selected as one of 16 semifinalists for the National Quarterback Award, the Davey O'Brien Award this season.
