Scott Selected to FWAA All-America Team

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point offensive lineman Lucas Scott has been named to the 2024 FWAA All-America Second Team, presented by the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.
Scott is the first Army player to appear on the Football Writers of America Association All-America Team since RB Mike Mayweather in 1990.
Scott has started the last 24 consecutive games dating back to Week 2 of 2023 on Army's offensive line. The Binghamton, N.Y. native started 11 games at right guard in 2023 before kicking out and starting every game this season at right guard.
Several weeks ago, he was selected to the All-AAC second team.
Entering bowl season, Scott is currently graded as the second-best offensive tackle in the country (90.1) according to Pro Football Focus.
Scott and his offensive line teammates were recipients of the Joe Moore Award, given annually to the most outstanding offensive line unit in college football. Since 2015, the Joe Moore Award has recognized and celebrated offensive lines that exemplify the ultimate blend of toughness, teamwork, effort, consistency, technique, and a relentless drive to dominate at the line of scrimmage.
