Keira Vesy Named to Patriot League All-Academic Team

Vesy is a mechanical engineering major at USMA with a focus on biomechanics, tracking to graduate with honors in her major. She has received numerous awards and recognitions within the Corps during her tenure at West Point, including the Superintendent's Award for Excellence, Distinguished Cadet Award, Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Superintendent's Award for Achievement. Along with earning Dean's List recognition throughout every semester, she has been apart of the West Point Chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society and the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.
She was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team this past week after garnering all-conference third team laurels in 2023. Vesy has started 70 games on the backline for Army during her career, helping anchor Army's defense while also contributing three goals and five assists throughout her career.
In addition to her achievements in the classroom and on the soccer pitch, Vesy has academically published various pieces including 'Review of Blood and Fluid Warming Methods; in the ASME Journal of Medical Devices and 'Fresh Whole Blood Transfusion in Austere Environments' in ASME 2024 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition.
