Daily Named an Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Semifinalist

TYLER, TEXAS – Army West Point quarterback Bryson Daily has been named a semifinalist for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award.
He was named the Week 7 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award winner for his performance vs. UAB, rushing 12 times for 136 yards and scoring four touchdowns.
Daily is one of 16 semifinalists for the award.
Through 10 games with four remaining, Daily has scored a record-setting 23 rushing touchdowns and has already amassed 1,000 rushing yards, currently sitting at 1,207.
The award is given to the top offensive player in NCAA Division I football who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity; specifically, tenacity to persist and determination to overcome adversity and injury in pursuit of reaching goals.
Additionally, the award is limited to players who were born in the state of Texas, attended a Texas high school, or attended a Texas junior college or university.
Daily, a native of Abernathy, Texas was a multi-sport athlete for Abernathy High School, where he played under his father, Darrell Daily. He led Abernathy to a 12-2 record in 2019 during his senior year, totaling 2,175 rushing yards and 39 touchdowns. Through the air, he passed for 1,355 yards and 18 touchdowns.
