Strohman & Conti Claim Goalkeeper & Rookie of the Year; Women's Soccer Sees Seven Named to All-Patriot League Teams

BETHLEHEM, PA - Army West Point women's soccer senior goalkeeper Sage Strohman was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year while freshman forward Bella Conti earned Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors, as announced today by the league. In addition, the Black Knights saw seven athletes claim All-Patriot League honors, with Kaelan Bradley, Brigid Duffy, Grace Pohlidal, Keira Vesy and Cami Silvestro joining Strohman and Conti.
Army's seven selections to the all-league teams are tied with Boston University for the most among all programs this season.
Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year / First Team All-Patriot League
Sage Strohman, Senior Goalkeeper | La Marada, Calif.
Strohman earns all Patriot League honors for the third consecutive season after garnering second team recognition in each 2022 and 2023. She is now the third Black Knight in program history to earn Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year and the first since Sydney Cassalia in 2020. Starting all 17 games this season, Strohman has surged to an 11-5-1 record with seven shutouts and a 1.00 GAA, making 82 saves on the season. Her 26 career shutouts is second all-time in program history while her 286 career saves is good for fourth. The senior was at her best in conference play, logging five shutouts and allowing just six goals across the nine league matches. Strohman also bookended the season with a pair of Goalkeeper of the Week honors.
Patriot League Rookie of the Year / Third Team All-Patriot League
Bella Conti, Freshman Forward | Allentown, N.J.
Conti earns the first Rookie of the Year award for the program since the 2010 season after a strong plebe campaign which saw her start 16 matches on the season. She finished third on the team with four goals including a brace against UMass in August. Conti earned a league-high three Patriot League Rookie of the Week awards throughout the season
First Team All-Patriot League
Kaelan Bradley, Senior Forward | Williston Park, N.Y.
Bradley's all-league recognition also marks her third consecutive season earning that designation. Bradley finished the season as Army's leading point scorer with 15 through a team-high six goals while adding three assists. She earned a pair of Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors after multi-point efforts against Manhattan and American. Bradley continued her strong performances in service academy matchups as well, scoring against both Air Force and Navy.
Second Team All-Patriot League
Brigid Duffy, Junior Midfielder | Queensbury, N.Y.
Duffy turned in her second consecutive All-Patriot League season despite missing the first four games of the campaign due to her USA Lacrosse National Team commitments. She posted a team-best six goals to go along with two assists while playing as a box-to-box midfielder. The junior earned Patriot League Midfielder of the Week after scoring a brace at Air Force to propel Army in the win and like Bradley, she deposited a goal against Navy in the Star Series matchup. Duffy has now earned All-Patriot League honors in back-to-back seasons in both soccer and lacrosse.
Grace Pohlidal, Freshman Defender/Midfielder | Edina, Minn.
Pohlidal stepped into a pivotal role for the Black Knights in her plebe campaign, starting all 17 games at centerback, helping anchor the Army defense. The Black Knights defense' allowed just one goal per game including just six in Patriot League play. Pohlildal scored her first career goal in the biggest game of the season against Navy and then logged her first career assist on a Duffy goal at Colgate. She was also named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week on October 21st.
Keira Vesy, Senior Defender | Rocky River, Ohio
Vesy was recognized as an All-Patriot League performer for the second straight season after once again starting every game on the back line. While helping Army's defense which ranked towards the top of the league in every category, she also chipped in offensively with a goal and three assists including a game-winning goal against Samford. Vesy garnered Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week twice during the regular season.
Third Team All-Patriot League
Cami Silvestro, Junior Midfielder, Voorhees, N.J.
Silvestro started all 17 games in the midfield for the Black Knights and earns her second consecutive All-Patriot League third team recognition in her junior campaign. She registered two goals, both being game-winners, to go along with a team-best six assists which also ranked second in the conference. Her two scores came against UMass and Providence but no performance was bigger than her three-assist effort to help take down Navy. Her standout game against the Mids earned her Patriot League Midfielder of the Week along with TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week honors.
