Vesy Brings Home Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Defensive linchpin Keira Vesy earned her second Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week award of the season the league announced Monday afternoon.
Vesy's lockdown efforts guided Army to its second consecutive shutout victory on Saturday in the 1-0 win over Lehigh.
Vesy played all 90 minutes, as she has done in all but two games this season. Under her guidance, the Black Knights backline has allowed a mere 1.08 goals per game and had four clean sheets.
This is the 10th time this season a Black Knight has won a weekly award with six different individuals winning one.
The Black Knights sit atop the Patriot League with a road trip to Loyola coming up this week.
