Ylan Duong Named Patriot League Women's Tennis Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, PA - Army West Point women's tennis sophomore Ylan Duong was named Patriot League Women's Tennis Player of the Week, announced today by the league.
Duong helped the Black Knights to a perfect 3-0 weekend at home as Army did not drop a single match throughout the three contests.
Beginning against Binghamton, Duong dominated her flight one matchup against Loren Cuomo, with a straight-set (6-0,6-0) victory as Army defeated the Bearcats by a score of 4-0.
Returning against Sacred Heart, Duong teamed up with Emma Sy to secure a 6-1 doubles victory on court three to help give Army the doubles point. In her singles match against the Pioneers, Duong tabbed a (6-1, 6-1) victory on flight three as Army posted another 4-0 victory at home.
Army will look to keep the momentum going on Friday, as Army hosts Stony Brook at 2:00 p.m. from Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
