10 Army Athletes Recipients of 2023 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award

WEST POINT, N.Y. --Â The 1A Faculty Athletics Representatives (FAR) Board has announced the 2023 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award recipients. The award recognizes outstanding student-athletes for their significant accomplishments in the classroom while competing at the highest level of college sports.

The Award is given annually to student-athletes who graduate with a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or above and have participated in at least two years of NCAA Intercollegiate athletics at a Football Bowl Subdivision institution.Â

Army had 10 cadet-athletes named as recipients from 2023, some of whom graduated in the spring of 2023.Â
