Wrestling to Compete Against Campbell at Fort Liberty

West Point, N.Y. – The Army West Point wrestling team will open the 2023-24 season with a dual match against Campbell University on Wednesday, November 1, at Fort Liberty in Fayetteville, N.C.announced Wednesday.
The dual will be streamed live via UFC Fight Pass, marking the second wrestling event to be streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
"Obviously, an exciting venue to compete in and we are thrilled to probably be the first NCAA division match of the year. So, we get to kick off the college wrestling season. We will be competing against a very tough and experienced Campbell team, so it will be a great opportunity to challenge ourselves right away. It's one of the coolest venues in all of wrestling and Army West Point definitely belongs on that stage." – Head Coach Kevin Ward
The planning of this dual began when an alumni of Army West Point wrestling tweeted out to Campbell saying how Army should be competing at Fort Liberty.
