Men's Basketball Name Charlie Peterson and Kwabena Davis Captains

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point's Lee Anderson Head Men's Basketball Coach Kevin Kuwik announced seniors Charlie Peterson and Kwabena Davis as the team captains for the 2023-24 season.
"I am excited to announce Charlie and Kwabena as our captains for the 2023-24 season," Kuwik said. "They have earned the respect of their teammates and the staff with their everyday approach on and off the court. They embody what our program aspires to be - Tough, Together, and Detailed. Our goal is to be the best player-led team in the country, and they will set the standard for our program in that regard."
Peterson enters his senior season as one of the best big men in the Patriot League. Last season, He was fifth in the conference in offensive rebounding, averaging 2.18 per game. His 5.2 rebounds per game led the Black Knights. His 7.9 points per game last season are the most on the team amongst returners.
Davis begins his senior season returning from injury. In his sophomore season, he averaged 2.5 points and one rebound per game. He had a career-high 10 points and four boards in 13 minutes against LIU.
