West Point, N.Y. – Kaelen Bradley's goal with 52 seconds left in the game lifted the Army Black Knights to a 1-0 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders on Wednesday night.
GAME SUMMARY
After a subdued first half with limiting scoring chances by both teams, the Black Knights kicked into high gear in the second half. Army outshot Holy Cross, 21-3, in the game including 15-3 in the second half.
Army went on the front foot in the opening minutes of the second half. Brigid Duffy came close to scoring with a dipping shot outside of the box which forced a save. Over the next 12 minutes, Lauren Drysdale, Izzy Fontana, Emma Richey, and Duffy all registered shots.
Despite creating more scoring chances, the Black Knights nearly fell behind. In the 68th minute, Sage Strohman had to make a finger-tip save to deny Holy Cross from scoring.

The Black Knights were finally rewarded with the effort with a goal in the final minute. Dara Murray played a ball across the box which found Kaelen Bradley, who one-touch passed one defender and her shot went into the side of the net.77' | Hits the post!
